Who should consider hormone testing?
Hormone testing is recommended for anyone experiencing fatigue, mood swings, weight changes, low libido, irregular periods, difficulty sleeping, or fertility concerns. It’s also useful for men and women who want to optimize their health, energy, and well-being.
For women, does the test need to be done on a specific day of the menstrual cycle?
Yes for some tests. For example, FSH, LH, E2, and Progesterone results are most accurate when tested on specific days of your cycle. Our staff will guide you on the best timing when you make your appointment.
Does the test hurt? What is the procedure?
All our Hormone packages only require a simple blood draw from your arm. You will feel a quick, small pinch that lasts just a second. Our experienced staff use fine needles and gentle techniques to make the process as comfortable as possible. The entire blood collection usually takes less than 5 minutes.
Do I need to fast before a hormone test?
Most hormone tests do not require fasting but we recommend testing between 8:00 - 10:00 AM for optimal accuracy. We will advise you clearly when you book.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome. However, during peak hours there may be a short wait. Booking an appointment in advanced is recommended for faster service, especially if you need multiple tests.
